Project Summit

Backed this game on Kickstarter, and while I do feel it's a bit lacking in terms of content length, what there is a fun little frantic mountain climbing arcade game. Dodge obstacles like goats and snowballs to get your ass to the top of a mountain as quick as you can. The story mode currently only has 9 levels, which is kinda short and I was able to beat it in about 15 minutes. The levels are actually pretty solid though, different terrains have different effects, obstacles work uniquely and don't feel too unfair (unless multiple snowballs happen to spawn), the level design is alright, and it's got pretty cute art. My only only issue because the length is that the sound effects are very bleepy and high pitched and they kind of sound like ♥♥♥♥, but you can at least turn em off. Haven't played the arcade mode yet, but it looks pretty fun, so I'll probably update my review when I do. I wouldn't quite pay the $7 MSRP it's asking for yet, but once the game is out of early access I feel it could be worth it and be a pretty fun arcade game. 7/10, good first outing from this developer. Pretty fun arcade game, the sprites are nice but the sound design is a bit off. My only problems are the lack of a reset button and a pause menu, and that I´m force to use the arrow keys instead of WASD which I´m more used to. Overall pretty fun game if you´re looking for something short and sweet.
