You’re tired of being a labrat, so you make a run for it. Sure, you made it out of your cell, but it's not that easy! The entire facility is on high alert and, to get a taste of freedom, you must fight your way through the deadly WASP army. It’s time to use the mutations they planned to exploit against them!

Project XSTING is a sci-fi survival roguelite game with comic-style graphics and cyberpunk vibes. At the start of each run, you begin your escape from a random point on the map and must battle through an increasing number of enemies. Do everything you can to survive and defeat the bosses. Don't worry about overly complicated controls—just enjoy the thrill of the fight!

Every character has a base range and melee attack at their disposal. Since each protagonist suffers from a unique mutation, the style of their melee and ranged attacks varies in both visuals and scope. Therefore, your character choice significantly affects gameplay.

The key is to use these attacks to eliminate enemies and collect their life force to access power-ups, allowing you to develop your character's mutation differently during each run.

You're pitted against the highly-trained armed security forces of the H.I.V.E. Medical Corp.

As a fan of roguelike/roguelite games, this was a good find popping into my DQ. The unique mechanic of each stage (the darkness level really impressed me) and the drones effects are a nice twist in the survivorlike games. Being twin stick is also a big plus for me! The bosses have nice visuals and also create a very nice progression. Amazing game with amazing soundtrack and visuals. Curious about the growth on the Early Access.6 found this helpful
This game is fun! I haven’t played any of its genre so far but I’m converted. It’s a total adrenaline rush xD Also really love the wasp (or is it bee?) theme. There’s a good variety of maps and the character play experience is completely different. Lots of potential! Can’t wait to get better and survive the bosses 😜2 found this helpful
Great game, there is a nice variety of enemies and very original bosses. I love the 90s vibe and the comics style the game has going. The drone mechanic is a nice twist to the genres. It's extremely addictive. Can't wait to see what's coming next.2 found this helpful
This is not my type of genre, but I caught myself a few times, after coming home in the evening, how I just played around in order to release some stress. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and it relatively keeps you on your toes. Soundtrack is unique and slaps. I did not get an impression of an early on-set repetitivnes because the gameplay is fast paced with different possible maps to play on. I did not experience any negative grind and thus I would say the progression system is very well made. The game has a good foundation and we will only see what the future holds. Once again to conclude, the devs are doing something right, if a player without interest in these genre, found himself enjoying the game.
Glad I listened to my friend’s recommendation. The game is really find and very addictive! I’m absolutely in LOVE the comics visual and very creative bosses. Also, the recent balance updates bring the adrenaline on much faster, I can’t wait to see what they bring next. Personally, I would like to see more of the maps with challenges like the dark one and the freezing, that’s is crazy! And maybe some more bosses cause I like how unique they are.
Adrenalineeeeeeee..... can't stop!
