lolololol steam requires that you play a game for at least 5 minutes before you leave a review. That's why there's no reviews. This game will entertain you for all of 1 minute (in fact, i played for exactly 1 minute, and tried to write this review after that. I stuck it out 4 more minutes just to write the review). You can pet the dog and watch it barely react. You can throw a ball and have it fetch. You can feed the dog and watch it eat. Thats. it. I would not recommend paying even a $1 for it in it's current state. Now in all fairness though, this was probably made by 1 person (Chun Y. perhaps?), and for something made by 1 person it's actually very impressive, especially some of the details such as the dog's (simplified) movement, or such as the dog's ears and whiskers warping to where you are petting it (him? her?). This VR experience just needs a few more things to spice it up to keep the audience's attention for more than 1 minute. It could easily be turned into a game by the introduction a goal (perhaps something like training the dog to do tricks and taking it to a dog show? Or even just making the dog happy with a balance of food, water, pets, walks, playtime, …4 found this helpful
For .99 cents US you get what you pay for. You get three pups, I'm going to be generous here and say corgi, husky and white mutt. It's all a reskin of the same pup, but I didn't expect more than that for the price. So you pick your pup, sounds or not and you can feed, pet or play with puppers. Play is tossing the ball which has really broken physics, unfortunately. Get it for the meme factor or the cute puppers to pet, just don't expect more than what you see. If the puppers were expanded and some relaxing music added it wouldn't be a bad title. Strangely I noticed the puppies are more active in meme mode and will sit up nicely. It's kind of a shame they don't do more.1 found this helpful
Trash game. Recieved as a gift and now stuck with me forever. So if I gotta suffer, your "game" must suffer with me! Actual game criticism: - Dog looks more like a dogs head on a cat body. - The "three" dogs are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reskins. - Games like 22.8MB. Slightly larger than DOOM, but unlike DOOM, Puppy Doge lasts about a minute. - Such text, very cringe - Dog is force fed pills, PILLS, PILLS, PILLSPILLZPILLS1 found this helpful
It only costs a dollar, but you'll have a better time playing with the robot dog in Valve's "The Lab" than with this dog. That dog reacts when you pet it. This one is not as enthusiatic. I was looking for a VR dog to pet, was much disappoint. Headed back to The Lab!1 found this helpful
the puppy is so cute and amazingly fun to play with
Bought this for my niece she was over it in a few minutes. The text that pops up is obnoxious even to a child and she didn't even want to feed it because she thought she was giving it pills. The ball got stuck behind the desk and took up probably 2 of the 6 minutes she played it for. The concept was good the execution is not so good. Even for $1 its not worth it, at 6 minutes of "entertainment" that makes the game essential $10/hr.
