About Pyrewarden
About
Pyrewarden is a real-time fantasy tower defense. You place towers along enemy paths, upgrade them with gold earned from kills, and try to survive escalating waves.
Contents
- 12 magic schools, each with 3 specialization paths and 4 upgrade tiers — 144 tower variants in total.
- 66 synergy combinations triggered by placing towers from compatible schools next to each other.
- 21 maps.
- Endless wave mode.
- Solo and online co-op.
- Official localization for English and Czech. Unofficial machine-assisted translations are also available for 14 more languages (Danish, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish) — quality varies and corrections are welcome.
Gameplay
You start each match with a small amount of gold and an empty map. Waves of enemies follow fixed routes; you build towers on the open tiles between those routes. Each tower has a school (Fire, Frost, Lightning, Shadow, Arcane, and so on), a path that decides what it specializes in (damage, range, control, support), and upgrade slots that you fill as you earn more gold.
Tower placement is not just about coverage. Adjacent towers from compatible schools trigger synergy effects — there are 66 such combinations across the school pairs, each producing a different bonus.
The wave generator scales difficulty as you progress. There is no fixed "win" condition — endless mode keeps going as long as your defense holds.
Co-op
Up to six players can share one map online. Each player has their own gold pool and tower roster; the map and the wave timer are shared.

In current state..... Very glitchy. I bought for multiplayer. Currently whoever hosts can see the enemies but the other person cannot. Because of this we were unable to play. Looks fun in theory. Keep working on it. Ill check back in 3-6 months.
Needs to be ironed out a bit. Fullscreen and sounds didn't work and when playing multiplayer I couldn't see the enemies or any animations.
