Racing angle

Racing Angle might look like some kind of racing game, but it's not. It's an endless runner with a third person vehicle driving mechanic. There's no brakes, so once you start driving, it's basically an endless runner as you avoid obstacles coming at you on an endless minimalist/neon track. This looks and feels like an asset flip, at least the car probably is one. That theory is supported by the dirt cheap price, minimum viable product tier implementation, and the way it was dumped into dirt cheap game bundles.

The core concept of a racing game that you have to complete with a fixed camera angle that varies from track to track is actually kind of cool, but the controls are super mushy and it's nearly impossible to steer on the narrow track with curves and badly placed obstacles. Done better, this could be a neat concept game.

I like the idea of differnet default angles as a challenge but the driving mechanics are somehow both too responsive and not responsive enough. Maybe it'd be more accurate to say that they are responsive but have a lot of lag. And that delay in response to your direction makes it frustrating. I think this concept would be better applied to a space ship with thrusters style of racing.

The steering is so janky it's impossible to play. The bad camera angles might be an interesting gimmick but with the steering issue it just ruins it further. Extremely loud music that cannot be turned down as the volume sliders in Options don't work.
