About Ranger Quest: The Adventure Begins
A fantasy story full of magic and intrigue that will transport you to a different time and place. Ranger Quest is a 2D top down adventure game that combines exploration with the puzzle aspects of a maze. A modern game that incorporates pixel art to create the nostalgia of an 80’s era top down adventure game.

No adventure would be complete without doors to open and rooms to explore. Navigate through the maze to find the elemental orbs and the pieces of the magic map. With each orb you find, more of the maze will open up for you to search.

Activate shrines and be transported between floors. Only by moving back and forth between floors will you be able to find the correct path and solve the puzzle.
The Minotaur Maze Engine takes a classic 2D Maze and reinvents it by having the walls move. A game designed to be enjoyable and challenging for players of all ages. I wish I could use wasd to walk instead of the the arrow keys because I am using a 60% keyboard so I had to hold fn the whole time to walk2 found this helpful

It's an advertisement disguised as a full game, and you're expected to go pay for [b]"Ranger Quest: The Elemental Orbs"[/b] after seeing this advert for it. This is misleading, a shady way to market a for-profit product, and misleading gamers for profit is wrong. The product this is advertising,[i]Ranger Quest: The Adventure Begins[/i] is free as well, now, which is bizarre that we need to have a "free" advert for a "free" game.... anyway it's a laughably awful game concept. A pixelcrap maze game that almost looks like a real RPG (but it isn't) where you negotiate some mazes. Your reward for finishing a maze? An opportunity to do more crap mazes. Well, at least this wasn't an asset flip. But just because something is genuinely made doesn't mean it's good... and the developer deliberately abused the "free" section of Steam to advertise a paid product., but this isn't that product, it's just an ad for it. If you really like adverts, you can get them for free on Youtube, in your browser... heck even online streaming video subscriptions have ads now. Why download and install another…

This game is a-maze-ing! The real puzzle comes with figuring out how to 100% and finish the game, but it is never too difficult, the game remains short, and does not overstay its welcome. Fun little maze game.
good game , developers know how to trick their fanbase. (this game requires brain tbh)
Cute and short, reminded me of an old flash game I played back when I was a kid on the school computers. That one involved far more danger however. Not bad for a free game! Just wish there was an option for the volume control!
