Red and the Deadly Sins

Simplistic action platformer about a ninja psychologist. First you whack your patient with a katana over the head, then you give them your life advice. Tight controls, lots of trap puzzle rooms and cool character design makes for fun couple of hours. The action aspect requires some work though, not at all challenging at the moment.

Interesting game, its early access, still trying to figure out the game,. but if you do play this you should use a controller like xbox or ps4 not really compatible with keys on the keyboard. you can but its tough to play as I have found. they don't tell you what keys to push for your weapon, you need to collect coins in order to buy things and other items along the way. to use your katana click on the letter K on the keyboard you can use wasd keys to walk around spacebar to jump or use your up and down keys as well I key is for inventory, you can click the esc key and then click on help and it tell you all the info that is needed in the game. its a fun game and the graphics are really well done they just need to polish the game with being able to use keyboard a lot better than just using a controller as other may not have one. and give out instructions a little bit more throughout the game. so I hope they continue on developing this game more and more. but so far so good. Although interesting in it's concept Red and the Deadly Sins suffers from a few glaring issues in it's mechanics and design, while still being fun and enjoyable. First off and this is the primary issue here; the jumping is floaty and awful, resulting in a lot of cheap deaths that were no fault of your own when navigating sawblades and that's another thing the amount of random saw generators is too damn high. All it does is inflate the difficulty artificially and the placement of them are random and over used. The game gives you no incentive to kill enemies outside of those weird bird rooms, although i did kill one enemy and a coin spawned in the floor yay i guess. The game is very simplistic in nature, even for a "metroidvania" which this game is not and kinda pretends to be it doesn't even have a map for each of the levels. I did love the graphics and i really loved the music which was very chill and had a ambient dreampop element to it. I enjoyed the combat but do wish there was more to it. There were a lot of spelling errors and grammatical issues, but i can look past that for the most part because obviously english isn't the dev's first language. Overall I enjoyed my time with …

Not perfect but nice metroidlike

It has good operability and simple but interesting action. You can expect good 2D action. However, attacks may stop during consecutive attacks. Then the operability of the jump to the top is bad. 70 points overall I look forward to the update. Map and Japanese translation request

I enjoed the game! It's a good indie game which is so rare here. Especially loved the rooms with traps :3
