Set in the dystopian steampunk future in which the First World War never ended, humanity knows only war and bombardment.
You are a Strike Commander, tasked by Fuhrer of the Empire State to spearhead an artillery offensive against Traitor General Kranz. You might be the one to end all wars.

Simple game, but hella fun and surprisingly addictive. There is so much joy I got from customising my fortress and slugging it out with my opponent. I love how many options there are. Not only can we tweak fortress specialisations (offense vs defense vs utility) and weapons (of course), but there's also PERKS!! Campaign wise, its nothing too special. Think of it like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Its there to bring u from 1 battle to the next. End of story. Not bad per se, but nothing too special :) Really the gameplay carries this whole thing, and its really good and had me engaged for the entire, and surprisingly lengthy campaign. Really I think the only thing missing from Redcon is a multiplayer mode so we can see who can lob more shells, missiles and other ordnance at each other the most XD

Levels start with vibrant colors and become a wasteland of burning metal. Pretty older hidden Gem id like my friends to try with a charmingly grimdark storyline and unforgiving AI. This game was inspired by a Japanese anime film called Memories Ep 3 CANNON FODDER, watch that if you want an idea of what this game feels like because it captures it near perfectly. Hexage though refuses to ever make sequels <3
