About Reforged TD - Tower Defense
Hey 👋, I'm Sascha and I develop Reforged Tower Defense in my spare time - simply because I love tower defense games. I wanted to build a game that captures the charm of classic TDs - but with a twist: loot, level system, skill trees and even co-op. Whether you just want to set towers until the enemy waves crash, or you want to perfect builds and strategies, you'll find your thing here. There is no battle pass, no energy limit, no timer - just towers, opponents and your plan. Whether solo in classic or rogue-like mode or together in co-op - you decide how you want to play. Do you have ideas for new towers, items or crazy game modes? Just write to me! I'm passionate about developing Reforged Tower Defense and welcome any input - be it bug reports, feedback or a wild wish list. If you want to see something cool in the game, let me know. Maybe it'll be in the next update. 💬Thanks for joining us - and have fun defending!🛡💥

So-so, just way too tedious to level up. Just let me play the game. Not everything needs drawn out grinding.4 found this helpful

Love this game! Played it for a few hours and you can already see the potential. Also tried it out with my friends. The multiplayer is a bit complicated to join the games (Steam invite is still Beta) but if you are in the game its really fun. You have maps for 2/4/8 etc. players. This game combines many things i love about other TDs in one game and gets me the feeling of coming back to the roots of TDs. You also get the feeling that its not finished yet - yes - but its early access so thats completely fine. I'm looking forward to what is still to come. 10/10
The game is great. Hard and challenging. We also tried it out at a lan party. My friends got right on board with the game controls. Especially who wants to revive the earlier Lanparty times with his friends should access here. Especially the PvP mode, which was clearly inspired by the WC3 custom game classicer Line-Tower wars, has really revived the competitive feeling. While I owned the game, came constantly update patches, The not only fixed bugs, but always new content with delivered. This is exactly how developers should handle their Early Access titles. The developer is close to the community and can be reached easily and informally via Discord. Here, the community can contribute suggestions and wishes. The single player is really not without, here you really have to know where the strengths of the individual towers lie and where the weaknesses of the enemy monsters are to be found. The bestiary helps here. It can take some time to complete the single-player maps available in the game. You notice that here not just automatically more and more maps were produced as in the assembly line, but each map and each wave was thought through to put more obstacles in the way of the pl…
solid start but can't reccomend in it's current form, even on sale price just not enough here that works to merit the price... in the future it may (I hope) be well worth it but I am already kind of burned out on what little content is here... after starting playing it yesterday. Lots of little wonky things about it currently as well.. discord link not working... does not function well with dual monitor, talent system for single player is extremely blah (costs to respec and does not return all points gained. wut). with all of this said don't get me wrong, it COULD be a good game, but too many early access games stay that way, so I will not be able to recommend, yet... it reminds me so much of WC3 that I was hopeful and took the plunge but I kinda regret jumping in now :\
I was enjoying it to a certain extent until I encountered a bug that disabled me from getting experience from kills all together. I think this game has potential but It's not worth $15+ in it's current state. If you're looking for a more polished game I would say give it a year or two.
