[b]“DUNK IS LIFE”[/b] [i]-The first self-aware robot[/i] [hr][/hr] Holy hell, [b]Robo Dunk[/b] is stupid fun. Who knew that to elevate a basketball-type games you only needed to lean into the cool factor and srtip the mechanics down to their simplest components as nuance will emerge naturally if the game is as correctly balanced as this one. [h1]Gameplay[/h1] It’s basketball, but… It’s 2v2 You can ram your opponent to make them drop the ball, you can shield for a brief moment when you have the ball, you can pass, but not shoot, you can only DUNK. Each unlockable robot has its own special move, a weapon if you will, as well as a spread of 4 stats unique to them. The roguelite part comes from the campaign mode, where you’ll be playing matches against increasingly stronger opponents, each match earns you money to use on either permanent robot upgrades or to unlock mods as possible run rewards from matches, as losing a match will make you start over again. Endless mode however has that full-on roguelike-arcade feel if you don’t care about progression and just want to jump straight into the full experience instead of a slow buildup.
