About Robot Incursion
Robot Incursion is a virtual reality wave shooter for SteamVR. You can't get away with just standing still and you will need to physically move around, taking cover and dodging bullets. You will need a play space of at least 2 x 1.5 metres. There is 1 training level and 5 combat levels, where you will have to defend yourself with either an assault rifle, turret or grenades.
Each level has a leaderboard, so you can compete with other players to get the highest score.

1/5, I kept getting jumped

"Robot Incursion" is a lame, asset flip looking stationary wave survival shooter where you wave your arms around to shoot waves of robots in various stock asset looking backgrounds. I'm pretty sure they're flipped, anyway. Like who would go through all the trouble of creating all those assets to drop them on a basic wave survival VR tech demo like this? What do you do in the game? You do very little. Stand still, point at robots, and if you're lucky the game will work and the robot assets will be shot. If you are even luckier, the game won't work and you can move on to better things. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. …
The game literally wouldn't let me shoot, I was pulling the trigger, the gun model was registering me pulling the trigger but it wouldn't shoot, I had a mag put in the gun and there was now firing pin thing to pull, but it still wasn't letting me shoot
Before I played Robot Incursion, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
