Robot Invasion

An extremely basic runner game, merely moving up and down to avoid the robots on a 2 lane road. There's nothing else to avoid, nothing to collect, no customization, nothing. The music is little more than the same 3 second loop with an extra sound every 15-30 seconds. There are much better games that cost the same or are even free.

Robot Invasion is the most basic side scrolling game, with 'it runs and becomes faster theme', except it's ugly, music is oddly "mixed" and basically there is nothing to adjust in the game. So I get weird screen tearing, despite having "Very High" Unity preset. Nice! This "game" is joke made on purpose. But I don't see joke in that, just wasting people's time, bandwidth and HDD space.

If you’re old enough to remember Macromedia Flash Games. You’ll know what you must do. Otherwise, you’re better off playing a Newgrounds game.

❌ Tested on Steam Deck. It doesn't work at all, the game won't even launch (30/10/2022). This is a pretty simple game about dodging obstacles and staying alive as much time as possible. Although it works fine and smoothly, I can't really recommend it as it looks like an unpolished version of some other games that already exist out there. It reminds me of all those simple games it used to make when I was studying coding: playable but definitely not a product to be offered to the public. Good choice for the background colour tho, I liked it.

This game feels like either a free mobile game or a student's final project. The controls are never explained so be warned the up and down keys are W and S not the up and down arrows. Past that the character design isn't bad and the background is colorful and since I assume this is more of a children's game that's all it really needs for a cheap distraction.
