---see where this game landed on my tower defense tier list beneath this rec!--- This is a pretty well done tower defense with some similarities to PokePath TD. It's a very grindy and repetitive TD, where at some point you will probably get like me and be like "well that was good, but I'm done with the repetition". I should point out that this is not an idler like PokePath, which was that games way of making the grind and repetition accessable to some. This games way of trying to make the grind more interesting is by going heavy on the roguelite aspect. With each run you earn currency to upgrade your creatures, spells and other things. Once you max out a creatures upgrades, you can choose to evolve them, with makes them a tiny bit stronger and removes all of the upgrades you had spent on them, causing you to need to improve them again. For the first few hours at least, this works for me and seeing my spells and creatures get more powerful each run was quite fun. There aren't many creatures (I think 16?), however I felt deterred from switching my team up, because the upgrades I had already put into my current team would've then felt like …5 found this helpful
Addicting tower def lite
very good game, hope to see the upcoming updates and such
I do not understand the mixed reviews. This TD game is well ahead of the genre. - Solid progression system -Varied towers and spells, each with their own skill trees (and prestige system for towers at least) -Rewarding combos -Small dev group but deeper yet functional difficulty grind, more polished than I anticipated I am not sure I understand the complaints over the egg grind being capped. I find the egg hatching to be fair timing between every few runs. While some builds may be better over others, that is what content balancing patches are for (and also play what is more enjoyable in your runs). I highly recommend this game for TD fans. The price is fair even at full price.
The game has potential, but being able to win a run using just one type of turret is quite frustrating
Really addictive
