About Rotatex

Rotatex is a sloth cat. Rotatex does not like to move independently, but due to the perfect natural round shape and strong bones can easily roll.
You have to turn the room and send the cat nicknamed Rotatex.

Features:
  • Manage the room, but not the cat.
  • Convenient control of the arrows up, down or left, right.

honestly the game isn't that bad but its not the greatest. i like the concept tho. basically your ball hamster thing and you move by changing gravity wit the arrow keys.

Not recommended. Another game prototype with potential but is a definite no-go for now. Graphics are minimal, levels are small and the amount of content for the price is not worth it. Take the game mechanic and make a full game and you have something worth a couple bucks.

Rotatex is a minimalist indie puzzle game that builds its entire identity around a single, playful idea: instead of moving the character, you rotate the world itself. Developed by Dnovel and published by My Way Games, the game presents a compact, physics-driven experience that feels more like an interactive toy box than a traditional platformer. Its charm lies not in narrative ambition or mechanical complexity, but in how effectively it explores one core mechanic and invites players to think spatially rather than reflexively. The premise is immediately approachable. You guide a round, cat-like creature named Rotatex through a series of enclosed stages by rotating the entire level, allowing gravity and momentum to do the work. Rotatex cannot jump, dash, or actively move; every success or failure depends on how carefully and creatively you tilt the environment. This reversal of conventional control schemes forces players to abandon instinctive platforming habits and instead focus on angles, slopes, and timing. Even simple levels quickly teach that small rotations can have dramatic consequences once physics takes over. Level design is structured around this idea of controlled chaos.…

Thumbs up, BUT... this is an extremely steep price for a 20-minute game. $11.99 meant I paid more than 50 cents a minute of actual gameplay. If I knew the game would only be 20 short levels I would never have paid that much.
