The game mechanics and the art style are.. alright. I like the concept of it, it's cool. And that's about all the good things I have to say though. First of all, the game is obviously pay-to-win. There's purchases left and right, and even some of the Novice quests direct you to the different shops to really shove the whole "hey, look at this! buy this so you can succeed!" agenda into your face. There's a ♥♥♥♥-ton of tiers, subscriptions and one-time purchases, and a few even range all the way up to 1000$. If you're prone to spending lots of money on games, don't play this. It's just a cash-grab. The UI is kind of confusing. There's a lot happening and it's a little overwhelming in the beginning. There's too many things to upgrade, and the game doesn't give you a proper tutorial on anything. The Novice quests kind of just.. show you the gist of it, but in no real detail. Also, as far as I'm aware, the game lacks something as basic as a "Settings"-menu. The closest thing to that is the profile page where the only options you'll get are to turn off the sound effects and music. Some of the features are locked until you reach higher levels, which is obviously understandable. Yo…

Runes of Legend—a game that throws you into a fantasy world full of magic, adventure, and, apparently, player disappointment. You play as a brave hero exploring a land that was once peaceful but is now overrun by dark forces. Classic setup, right? Well, hold onto your runes, because things get... interesting. The game gives you 10 professions to choose from, which sounds cool until you realize no matter what you pick, you’ll probably still be running for your life. You also get a pet companion, which might be the only thing in this world that truly supports you. Combat is “dynamic,” which is just a fancy way of saying chaos, and there’s dungeon exploration where you either find treasure or get absolutely wrecked by whatever nightmare creature lives down there. And let’s not forget the King’s Trial—I’m not exactly sure what this is, but judging by the reviews, I’d guess it’s less of a heroic test and more of an elaborate way to make you regret your life choices. The game is free, so at least you won’t be financially ruined when you inevitably rage-quit. But hey, if you like pixelated pain and have a soft spot for suffering, Runes of Legend might just be your next obsession. Or yo…
