About Rush Rover

Rush Rover is a 2D top-down shooter game. Compared to other similar games of the genre, the shooting experience is closer to traditional shoot'em up games. It includes random map generation, unique weapons, lots of different enemies, exciting boss battles and a dynamic chiptune soundtrack.

In the universe of Rush Over, intelligent robots and mining exploration have spread over every known galaxy. After the war of independence against humanity, these highly intelligent and powerful machines attempt to rule over everything so they start hacking other robots. You control a "clean" mining rover, picking up weapons and rushing to survive!

✦ AI summary

Players praise this roguelike bullet hell for its engaging gameplay, unique robotic aesthetic, great soundtrack, and solid replay value through varied weapons and bosses. The main complaint centers on technical issues with frame rate synchronization on high-refresh monitors, which causes gameplay slowdown, though some players still enjoy it despite this problem; difficulty also spikes significantly and requires considerable skill to complete.

Absolutely do not buy this game in 2023 or beyond as it's unplayable on modern setups. Getting 42.5 FPS on a 240hz monitor with no setting to correct for this. Unless you're using a 60hz monitor, this game will not work properly and will slow down gameplay to attempt to sync with the monitor's refresh rate. Developers, please repeat after me: it's the future and we do not build games making fps-bound physics. Again, we do not build physics bound graphics. Got that? Now onto get a refund and support developers who don't cripple their games for convenience.

Still a great game in 2026! Definitely recommend! Easier than Enter the Gungeon but I like that about it. I hope we get a sequel one day.

Highly recommend this for hardcore fans of bullet hell. Be wary that it has a difficulty spike and that you cannot beat the game without asian level bullet dodging skills.

Really good dodge-em-up with a great soundtrack! A variety of weapons, bosses, and levels give it a lot of replay value. This game rewards you for taking a break. If you quit and come back later, the upgrades don't cost as much. I thought this was a bug, then I played it on iOS. Same deal.
