Rustil: Eternal Labyrinth Castle

this game in reality get a 10/10 from me in terms of its core gameplay loop and overarching story. the reason for the downvote comes from one section of the game that entirely kills the forward progression and puts u in an unnatural grind loop for hours. The relic of the braver is a nightmare to get as u have to beat a death knight at lvl 1 when its lvl 20. all the rouge like mechanics are out the winder since this takes place in the forest. thats if the dumb thing even spawns. it took me an hour of constant reseting to get it to spawn and when it did there was 2 of them. the first one i killed took all my heals and didnt drop what i needed. the second one killed me cause i had been fighting the first for about 30 minutes straight since i cant lvl or stack passives. Its so bad that i want to finish the game but like whats the point if all im going to be doing until i get this relic is return home go to forest return home go to forest. maybe just give the relic so a relic tracker, the mechanic that they explain to u in the game that they randomly decided doesnt apply to the braver relic. overall great game but this section may be the end of my run

Rustil: Eternal Labyrinth Castle is an entertaining game, but its use of generative AI makes me firmly not recommend. I did not realize until a few hours in.

I feel like after 100h i can make an accurate review of this game. Pros: - Graphics and soundtrack are great. - Replayability is there. There's always something to grind to get better stats for minmax. - Combat, while simplistic, there's several options. Physical with swords, Magical with staffs or mixed with gunblades. After you unlock familiars (captured monsters you can use in combat) you can also use them and do a build with them (albeit they're more extra dmg/support, most of the damage comes from your character). There's also a crafter build for later game but i havent dove into this one to do a proper assessment. - There's 2 skill trees to upgrade. And im still like half way into the 2nd, meaning there's lot of small permanent upgrades you can do to help your runs. You can turn off these upgrades if you feel like you're too strong and want some extra challenge. - Familiars (think of it like a pet/pokemon system) also has some dept to it... you can have 2 of them fighting alongside you and have 5 contributing with some stats for your character. All of them have a big random range (which keeps getting better stat ones as you climb the infinite tower) and can be upgra…
