Unlock new weapons through use in combat, and customize your experience with four selectable difficulty levels.Choose the weaponry that suits you.Whether you prefer the accuracy of a rifle, the close-range power of a shotgun, or the speed of sidearms, your weapons shape how you fight. Each class has multiple variants to suit different approaches. From the solid hit of a crossbow to the sheer volume of a Gatling gun, you'll have plenty of hot lead dispensers to choose from. You can even dual-wield sidearms if you want to trade precision for raw firepower.The outlaws' bullets are fast, but you’re faster. Use bullet time to line up your shots. Sprint and dash to stay mobile, keeping pressure where it hurts. Swap weapons on the fly to always have the right tool for the job. During a reload, mashing the reload key speeds it up, and every second counts when you’re under fire. You’re equipped for the fight. The rest is up to you.

The “boomer shooter” genre has always been kind of funny to me. Like, just take a look at the most recent [b]Call of Duty[/b] game. The guns and graphics are so detailed that [i]half the time[/i] it looks [b]live action[/b] (at least with screenshots). There’s a full campaign mode and several multiplayer modes, promising hundreds of hours of content. [i]heck[/i], the customization options [i]alone[/i] are just [b]insane[/b]….[b]and yet, everyone rightfully hates the game; probably because Activision [i]sucks.[/i] [/b] And then we get games like [b]Saloonery[/b], dropping out of nowhere on Steam, and people are all like [b]oh my gosh this is so awesome!!![/b] [i]I sure do wonder why that is![/i] Perhaps it’s because it doesn’t cost like $120 on launch day, or that the game is so big that it takes up like 90% of your computer, or [i]that half the game is locked behind DLC paywall, or all the embarrassingly obvious AI usage[/i], or the [b]wildly out of place Beavis and Butt-Head crossover, [i]or that---[/i]you get the point.[/b] But you know what’s the most important thing? How far can a shooter go on gamefeel alone? Saloonery isn't exactly ambitious in terms of scope, and even then some aspects like the hub and skill upgrades feel threadbare. I'm still recommending it, because the feeling of seeing a bullet leave the barrel, and still dodging at the last moment hit like little else (even in games with bullet time). I'm still recommending it because it is quick, snappy, and easily readable in a way that feels close to perfect, even in an age increasingly crowded in retro-styled shooters. Also it's cheap. This game is extremely satisfying and has great enemy variety, weapon variety and level design. Even though there's not a ton of content yet it's still worth the price tag!1 found this helpful
I got it on sale for $4. Absolutely worth it for a solid fps game that's brought me quite a few hours of fun so far. Love the art style. I enjoy the individual main levels, but also the levels where you're fighting waves of enemies. They're the most challenging for me, but satisfying to complete. I also like the hub area and the side quests that it has. Gun variety is pretty good in this game and the movement system is solid. This is an easy recommend for fps boomer shooter fans. Oh, and it has dual wield guns too which is always a nice thing to have.1 found this helpful
Wonderful game done with godot engine. As simple as good. There are many weapons that you will obtain throughout killings or with cash. They are all different. You can also better your skills using the point gained from level accomplishing. The bullet time is really helpful and fun. For less then 4 euros I had really a great time
Fun game and satisfying combat.
