Salvage Protocol

A neat short game where everything just clicks. It's got a nice spooky mood, an unobtrusive story (the best kind) and a neat gameplay loop: You run around levels, breaking stuff into pieces and collecting salvage and there's always a countdown to beat. There are also creepy monsters to fight! This is clearly an indy game. It is very short (clearing it will take you about 4-5 hours), there is no real soundtrack etc. But it's got heart and attitude in spades and, what's more important, it plays really well. The controls and the mechanics are both tight, and everything is flowing, in constant motion. It's pretty cheap too. You should buy it.

interesting and cool game, only found one bug, can barely call it a bug, it was more funny then anything. anyways, its a pretty cool single player game, if a bit on the short side.

Lethal Company X Hardspace: Shipbreaker Also supports 32:9, with the map going slightly off screen, but every location is clickable and all text fits on screen without issue.

A fantastic, creepy little "horror" game, with some cool enemy mechanics and an interesting (if short) story. Progression is well balanced. I paid $7 or $8 for this, but it's easily worth 10. I would love if the devs made this into a larger, 6-8 hour game, in a better engine, without the "faux PSX" renderer. I realize the benefits of developing a game with such an aesthetic, but I've never been a fan of it. That said, the game looks and plays well. I just can't help but wonder how much cooler it would be done with a more modern aesthetic and a serious approach to the horror elements. Buy it.
