Story

With the invention of hibernation technologies it is now possible for humans to travel to the stars. However, the Magella Science Expedition, the first manned mission to other star systems, has been declared missing after failing to establish communications.

Retro, intense, worth the price.

This game was very disturbing. I do not see myself as someone with astrophobia, and this game still freaked me out. My only complaint is that the gameplay itself was mundane and short.

this game isnt a horror game. theres almost no tension and the ending is lackluster. it is very obviously foreshadowed in the files that you get from the broken space station. i saw a review saying that instead of a difficulty curve, it has a tediousness curve and i 100% agree. the screen gets so cluttered with dead pixels and noise that its just hurts your eyes. the entire power mechanic was just a way to increase the annoyance of playing the game. all it does is add a delay to using your sensors. i get that in-universe the power would go down, but gameplay wise its just annoying. when i was playing i thought "oh yeah theyre gonna make us use the power for our life support to power the other sensors, increasing the tension because we're on a time limit now" but no. some positives i will give is that the entire monster idea of the entire planet is unique, even if its just a scaled up version of a mimic. the part of the ship that we are in, as little as there is, does look cool with all the pipes connected to our player. if youve played iron lung and are looking for a game like it. you wont like this game. if you havent played iron lung and are looking to buy this game. buy iron l…
