About Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse
An ancient, terrible power lies waiting…
Max has always been the more unhinged member of the Freelance Police—a lovable lunatic with a knack for spreading chaos wherever he goes. But recently his abilities have taken a supernatural turn.
It all started when he stumbled upon a mysterious toy that allows him to glimpse the future. Now Sam & Max have aroused the attention of a host of villains from across the galaxy who are hellbent on acquiring the magical Toys of Power to achieve their own ends.
As those who seek the Devil’s Toybox close in and Max’s psychic abilities grow beyond his control, the Freelance Police will come up against their most frightening adversary yet: the power of Max’s mind.

✦ AI summary
Players praise this game as an entertaining entry in the trilogy with memorable moments and emotional impact that resonates deeply with fans. However, some frustration exists around save file issues that cause progress loss, and opinions are mixed on whether the humor and quality maintain consistency throughout all episodes compared to previous seasons.

My favourite game in the trilogy personally, great game.1 found this helpful
It's pretty interesting, but the save file never correctly works so you lose progress.
Good game. I found episode 1 of this season less funny than the other two seasons, but episode 2 has been a bit more funny than episode 1, hopefully it will reach the same level as the previous two seasons soon in my playthrough.
I was planning on singing "Starman" after fully finishing the game, but I just couldn't get myself to do so and just cried. I love this game a lot...
