About Satellite engineer

The artificial satellite with interrupted power supply needs repair. Let's navigate the space platform and collect the parts. If possible, challenge the mission with minimal movement to conserve energy.

There are 49 stages prepared, and clearing the game shouldn't be difficult, but breaking the high score could be challenging.

You are an astronaut in outer space trying to repair a satellite in SATELLITE ENGINEER, a puzzle-platformer game by Home Works. Puzzle games are not known for their replayability; Once you know how to solve them, the game is over. Rare is it for someone to build the same jigsaw puzzle twice or, for that matter, to fill out the same crossword puzzle again. Exceptions abound; For instance, the sheer joy of walking through walls and experiencing the portal mechanism in PORTAL 1 has had players of that game going back and replaying some of its iconic levels. A serviceable enough story line within that game certainly hasn't hurt repeat playthroughs, either. SATELLITE ENGINEER (SE) has neither a compelling story nor a really unique gameplay mechanic to rely upon for repeat playthroughs but is it good enough for at least one? In SE, you play as an astronaut (or, if you'd prefer, cosmonaut or taikonaut) trying to repair a satellite. The satellite has lost it's solar panels and you must brave outer space to collect all of those panels by completing puzzles. You may walk normally on plain square tiles but only jump on tiles marked by numbers. The number denotes the n…

"Satellite engineer" is a simple grid pathing puzzle game where you move a robot around a grid of different tiles, minimizing the number of moves you make. The puzzle, of course, is all about choosing the right path and using the right special tiles (jumping, extending bridges etc) to get the path right. While far from the best game on Steam, I've seen thousands and thousands of worse games, and I think if this was published on the app stores where it belongs instead of Steam, the developer could even have made quite a bit of money off ad revenues. So, while I couldn't find this on the mobile app stores, everything about it looks and feels like it's a mobile app designed for mobile phones... for PC gaming enthusiasts, it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high qualit…
