Save the Dungeon!

My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on Save the Dungeon! and it gets 350 likes and 150 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka . So I'm just gonna leave this here.

Play here: https://youtu.be/-6gJ2JRpbTc Pretty enjoyable free to play tower defense it's extremely simple and I feel like the class specific towers are underpowered, but I like the upgrades and the sprites. I do believe some different enemy types would have been a nice a boss or something and achievements to unlock. Overall though it's well done for what it is.

"Save the Dungeon!" is just a low key asset flip.. the quality of the sometimes mismatched looking assets is suspiciously much higher than the actual game is, and that's a glaring mismatch. Who's going to create a bunch of high quality assets and then phone in the actual game? It doesn't add up... unless you consider how easy it is for anyone, even people unqualified to make games, to get any and all the game assets they want. The game is essentially a kitbash of assets made by other people, poorly assembled by an amateur developer. These projects are usually rushed through Steam Direct as fast as possible, and the lack of professional standards means the end result is something no gamer should waste their time on. This is a poorly made, somewhat simplistic tower defense game kitbashed out of "borrowed" (plagiarised) Unreal assets. This one takes on the way overdone trope of managing a dungeon as the bad guy. So, just like the assets aren't original, the entire game design isn't either. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expect…

In all honesty, there's no reason to play this tower defence over ANY other game. Even btd6 on a random browser is better than this. There are only two towers: long range and short range, there are minimal upgrades, and graphics/font genuinely bleeds my eyes. Overall: atrocious game 0/10 lost to soan
