I know! Barely made sense to me too, but it did… The former is a strategy game where you reach the end with a limited number of moves, clearing the path of enemies and not being dealt any damage. The latter is more passive entertainment, but one that’s emotionally latching whereby it involves you looking sullenly around a room and silently sighing as you fixate on mementos slowly stuffed into the o…13 found this helpful
A short if not somewhat relatable story of a group of friends slowly growing apart due to life and the project they left behind. It has a bit of a puzzle that doesn't take too long to figure out. All of the story is told through dialogue before each level or little snippets. Only real gripe I have is the rather extremely slow pace of the character (annoying but understandable to fit the first game feel) and that the game crashed on me during credits roll. It was a nice game, but since it deleted my save file I don't want to restart just to see if the last achievement is at the end.6 found this helpful
Short, worthwhile, a good experience. I'm glad I got to play the game, and I enjoyed learning about the characters. I had some problems with menus and freezing, but this didn't drastically impact my experience.2 found this helpful
Sayonara Golden Days it's more like an experience to see how a gaming club and friend group broke apart, which is done in an artistic manner, putting the gameplay somewhat on the side line. I think the topic this game is about is interesting and also bringing up good questions about it. It does reminds me to my own experiences and memories about the topic, and mainly this is the why the game is well liked and it's cleverly done. The story also helps you to understand what is going on, but you don't need to listen filler conversations or infos which are not as important. The puzzles are not as difficult to get through, although there will be a few which might look impossible but you can realize how the game is put together and you will find the solution. Now I really want to say that everything else in the game feels generic and really hard to enjoy for a longer period of time, not even mentioning that the voice acting is pretty lackluster aswell and the graphics is not that outstanding to be frank, but I understand this is exactly the direction the devs wanted to go for because of the premise of the game, playing an amateur game basically. However I think it's important to mentio…1 found this helpful
I enjoyed my time with this game. The concept is simple and interesting, the puzzle solving was decent, and I enjoyed the story. The voice acting felt overproduced, and under-acted. It serves the game fine, but the delivery felt like a narration, rather than a conversation. The puzzle gameplay WAS a little janky, but I don't consider that a bad thing in this case. In the story, it's an unfinished puzzle game, so it makes more narrative sense for it to be unpolished. Overall, not bad at all. I had a good time.1 found this helpful
A very short game. HOWEVER, the story made me feel something. And I really liked it. I wasn't enthralled at first, but then I noticed a pattern that started to make me feel differently. Honestly, spending the $2 was worth it for just the story. I actually really liked the puzzles too. The puzzles weren't super hard, but they made you think even just a little bit. I recommend this game just because the developers actually made me feel something which, most games don't do that to me anymore, so good job!
