Plot

Decent short VN with an intriguing premise and plot! While the brevity notably prevents the story from using its entire potential, I found it simple and entertaining to follow, with the mysteries and reveals being quite interesting despite their vagueness. The presentation is nice and atmospheric too, particularly the background art is immersive, plus I enjoyed the soundtrack. Scarlet Wolf is a psychological horror visual novel game developed by Graven Visual Novels. [h3]Plot[/h3] The protagonist, Alex, has been haunted by the same nightmare for several months. He attempts to solve the problem on his own but fails, so he seeks help from Dr. Amanda Silk, a professional psychologist specializing in trauma and dissociative disorders who uses an unconventional "Anchor method." Later, he meets an old friend [spoiler]Gingerro, and Alex’s older sister, Airin,[/spoiler] and together they embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of Alex’s dark past. you will progress through the game by making choices that affect the storyline’s development. The final decision leads to two different small story branches, though both converge on the same overall outcome. The game also features 13 achievements, which help track whether you’ve fully explored the story. The game takes about 2–3 hours to read (my record is longer because I left it AFK). The English translation is smooth, though there are minor errors—for example, the very last choice selection repeats the same option. However, this doesn’t disrupt the reading experience.
