Scavenger

It's an absolute mess to play.

"Scavenger" is a somewhat confusing entry in the "free" software section of Steam. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, it doesn't "feel" like one. But despite the decent visuals and interesting game concept (who doesn't like a well made adventure game?), you'll be disappointed with the incredibly jankiness, lack of polish and lack of optimisation... it's bad enough to make what could have been a great experience into a terrible one. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. you can't even change the brightness, so bad, and couldn't even pick the hammer that is on the ground in front of the gate in the beginning of the game. this game has potential, but for me right now, its not, until they fix those issues

I'm sure with some tweaking this could be great, but basic inspection buttons just are bugged out for me and don't do anything. Catch me mashing F on an interactable that is giving me a prompt to press F. it's so cute and I can feel the love in it, but due to the buggy nature I just can't recommend it.
