Sanity decreases rapidly for unknown reasons. It doesn't make it clear how to play at all anyway.2 found this helpful
Had Potential, But the batteries last about a minute each, and insanity decreases way to fast. had about 10 to 12 batteries but was left in the dark after 10 minutes. Of course, insanity immediately went to zero soon after. I do not recommend it.1 found this helpful
Was a great short little game, until I reached the end, of course. Whatever update they did with
the tentacles
made the entire game broken and unbeatable. I beat the game in 30 minutes, and I tried to beat the end for 2.5 hours. No guides either, and I tried just about everything. Ugh.
I was interested and I gave it the old college try, but the fun runs out when I die from sanity loss before I even get scared. It's a 'sanity meter' horror game, which is bad enough of a trope as it is, but the experience of losing sanity and keeping it in check is tedious as well. Sanity stabilizing pills and flashlight batteries are scarce, and the side effects of losing sanity are listening to your character make increasingly frequent giggly-moaning noises and sluggish movement. I would suggest, at the very least, if there's gonna be a sanity meter in the game please don't make it feel like a wild goose chase to manage it. Put pill bottles everywhere and leave the problem of forgetting to manage it to me, the player - especially if sanity loss kills the player instantly when it runs out. That's where you lost me. Despite my passionate words here, I hope this game is updated so I can give it another try. It's not hopeless, it's just too hard to be fun right now.
Saves would make this game so much better. https://youtu.be/dgYGShvKTXc?si=ERvuDANHB1A2X30j
So this is some type of roguelike speedrunning game and not a take your time psychological horror exploration game. Not my cup of tea.
