It is a good insight on how we expierence our surroundings. How these people of a town share the same view but expierence it in there own way. Most memories forgotten or lost in an item for you to find and note in a sketchbook.

A beautiful game. You can feel the creators had a lot of love and respect while making it. Its wholesome, low-cortisol level game, I really enjoyed exploring, taking pictures. They also put a lot of effort in, I def. recommend taking your time. It starts a bit slow but once you get out of the village, it becomes really interesting, you really want to explore the world and understand what is going on, just like the character. 10/10

The Game That Made Me Want to Travel Again
I've just got back from my big solo trip across several countries, and SEASON was one of the first games I played afterward. Just about 30 minutes in, I found myself wanting to plan another journey.
The Jouney Begins
The game is about traveling, experiencing, meeting new people, and making stories for our future selves. We roam through the landscapes of the outside world and understand how small we are in it. I've always been kind of an explorer, so I don't know how this game would've made me feel if I had played it before my journey. But playing it now, it makes me understand even more — you can't be alone in a world full of landscapes, animals, nature, and countless small things.
What the War Left Behind
The game shows us a world torn apart after the previous season's war. Everything we pass is either destroyed or just left to the care of nature. It tells us how important some things are that we often take for granted: family, home, and peace. The Elder of the town tells us about her family and home that she lost during the war. But one thing she never lost was her memories. Memories of her home, her p…

I’ll start off by saying that SEASON: A letter to the future is a beautiful looking game. It’s a melancholic journey that focuses on memory, legacy, and the fleeting nature of eras. You play as Estelle, a young woman who, one day, decides to leave her secluded mountain village and venture into the unknown on a bicycle. Sounds fun, however, there is an impending cataclysm threatening to wash away the world. No need to panic, though. In your role as Estelle, your mission is simple yet profound: document the dying remnants of a vibrant culture. Armed with a Polaroid camera, a microphone, and a journal, the gameplay revolves around discovery that feels natural and unforced. You roam the beautiful landscapes, capturing vistas, recording audio of the environment, and interviewing the valley’s remaining inhabitants. From these interactions you organise the fragments into your scrapbook, effectively turning you into both an archivist and a storyteller. The game’s narrative encourages some deep thought and reflection on topics such as loss, grief and childhood. Some may find the minimalist feel to the game a little aimless at times, but this game really suited me at this moment in time. It…
