About Seekers of Eclipse
At each enemy fortification you will build your town from cards that you have gathered, where every turn is a day lost. Each town will start from a humble beginning, but in a short time you will build an industrial city which produces all sorts of unique resources. Once you have produced enough resources, you will offer them to the gods for them to destroy enemies in your path towards the eclipse.
When travelling you will have to pick which path to take. You will balance between what you want to visit and how many days you are willing to waste. Here you will improve your town deck by adding, removing and upgrading cards. In addition you will look for ancient relics which will help you in different ways.Choose a leader to gather up your people and set off on a journey to get back to the Lands of Eternal Sunshine. Your only way to do that is to make in time for the Eclipse and get everyone back.

This is a fun game that deserves more reviews. If you like roguelike deckbuilding games this is very worthy! So its roguelike going through a campaign, choosing paths and building your deck by adding runes and cards as you go with paths enabling you to remove cards, upgrade and such. Very much like others like slay the spire in that respect. But it adds its own different way where its city buildings vs towers essentially. You build your town with your deck to get enough resources to keep towers blowing your buildings/town up until you have enough to end the game by blowing up the main objective. Obviously being roguelike and unlocking new cards and starting decks keeps it fresh for a fair few replays and then difficulty increase too. Only 5 hours in but can see myself playing this a lot more. Overall a happy purchase, £9 is very reasonable but even more so on sale etc Fully recommend!3 found this helpful
It's really fun. The cards, relics and levels give unlimited replayability. Unlocks adds to variety, there is no same tactics completing levels (destroying final tower)1 found this helpful
I would recommend this game for anyone who likes RTS and Roguelike games. I think I would give it in its current state around an 7 or 8/10 as there are still some improvements that can be made but has strong fundamentals. Music is greater! Class options of Food/Lumber/Stone is a bit limiting and would like to see a couple of other blends and/or focuses on different materials, like for instance Grapes, I think I've only used/seen 1 building using that material but having a drunken or a wine maker class/role would be cool and unique. I think the levels of difficulties are relatively good... I was able to get through challenge level 6 or 7, but the payoff of harder game play didn't feel that rewarding so I went back to 0,1,2 challenge difficulty to do a couple more runs to get the last of the stars I needed to finish unlocking everything. It took me about 30+ hours to unlock everything and I enjoyed the game thus far. Some improvements I could see that would move it towards a 9 or 10/10. Additional classes/roles More unlocks or a "META" progression system (outside of the STAR system) More detail onto how some of the functions work, i.e it is sometimes hard to tell if the tile …1 found this helpful
Really cool game, but seems like I have encountered the same bug a few times, where I end the day and enemy plays, but then I cannot play anymore after that. And everything stays frozen from stats, the energy doesnt get filled, cant click end day, and can't build anything. But overall nice combination, please fix the bug.
Overall: a fun and interesting take on the fusion of roguelike deckbuilder and roguelike citybuilder. The randomized nature of the game, as with so many roguelike deckbuilders, ensures playthroughs are different enough and even difficult enough to keep it interesting. That said, the difficulty can get a little swingy at times, with the same map on different runs being trivial one time and immediately a brick wall another time. I find this interesting and engaging. Other players might not! The game is fairly small still, and there hasn't been an update since August of 2025, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If a game is done, a game is done, and not every dev needs to provide constant updates or DLC or new content. I would personally like to see new leaders, cards, relics, and maps added to the game, but it IS a complete game in its present state, and one I find very fun and engaging! For my part I enjoy most roguelike deckbuilders, and I tend to enjoy citybuilders in theory more than in practice. Making citybuilders roguelike- giving them clear and defined endpoints- fixes my personal inability to enjoy them longterm and in more than just theory.
10/10 Steam is not correctly reflecting the amount of offline hours (stacked more at about 40hrs of gameplay). This game really only has one drawback: not enough content. I just wished there was more. This is a game that is very easy to learn, very hard to master. I love the way everything works and how it's set up. There's room for more depth and improvement to the game in a sequel or major expansion, but the game is fabulous the way it is. The music, sounds, graphics, and style is absolutely stunning. With more content, I could play this game all day. It's great. General Gameplay: It's a city/deck builder. You control what buildings are in your deck. You place buildings to get resources, using adjacency and placement bonuses etc to stack until you have enough energy to overcome the final enemy settlement. Each turn the enemy can place a tower that threatens to blow up a placed building, requiring that you take the hit or sacrifice some of your score you're developing to win the match to kill that enemy tower. The key gameplay element are the cumulative turns. You're on a countdown here. Each turn of placement is one less turn you have til you die. So each tu…
