This 1-on-1 indie casual combat game showcases hand-to-hand martial arts and weapon combat, licensed music, and stylized graphics. It avoids flashy, over-the-top effects, focusing instead on combat influenced by classic Kung Fu films. The game features authentic fighting sounds, martial arts styles inspired by classic Kung Fu cinema, and a licensed soundtrack with great music. Shaolin vs Wutang is a heartfelt tribute to 70s and 80s Kung Fu movies. Created as a passion project by one person with deep knowledge and love for Kung Fu films, it doesn’t aim to compete with big-budget fighting games. Instead, it offers players a nostalgic and satisfying gaming experience reminiscent of the golden era of Kung Fu cinema.With community support, the goal is to create the ultimate Kung Fu game!Current features include:

The first Shaolin vs Wutang is much better than this one and SvW 2 put together. If you could remaster the first Shaolin vs Wutang to load faster , plus all the menu sounds fixes it needs etc. Would attract more buyers.5 found this helpful
Well, if you've played the games before this one, you pretty much know what to expect. except it's bigger and better now than part 1 and part 2. Buying this was a no brainer for me as I loved the games before. The Shaolin vs Wutang games are basically every oldschool action and martial arts flick fan's wet dream. You choose between over 40 (!) fighters and loads of beautiful stages which all just ooze this oldschool flair. Wanna recreate the final fight from Bloodsport or Kickboxer? This is your game. Or maybe the legendary meeting between Bruce Lee and Cuck Norris in the Colosseum? This is your game. Wanna make a tournament to see who's the strongest Shaw Bros character? This is your game. Wanna beat up every past action or kung fu star with Ip Man? This is your game. So forget Tekken or Street Fighter and buy this game! Especially because this is pretty much a one man operation and the dev deserves all the praise he can get for gifting us another gem of a fighting game.4 found this helpful

This is my top martial arts game. Played the first two games and fell in love. The representation and nods to old martial arts movies is so well thought out and done. The roster and options are a definite plus. Tho i would like to see a Sumo fighter and maybe a cage fighter like Yuri Bojka. Still this is a welcome addition and i recommend with no hesitation.1 found this helpful
