[h1]Started out as a mobile game - and that's exactly what it feels like...[/h1] It's well-made, I give it that; but so is a rocking chair out of match sticks: looks nice, but is fun to use for only a short time before it lets you down. [b]The RNG and the grindy nature scream "mobile game" and "cheap[/b] [strike]entertainment[/strike] [b]distraction on the go"[/b] and it's unbearable, if you're looking for a real game or a challenge for your wits that gives you a chance to do more than pick a direction and watch you character get wrecked eventually, just so you have to grind to get further... ... something that a 15€-game should provide. As I said, it's not a terrible game, but: [b]A price tag of almost 15€ is a fu[u][/u]ck[u][/u]ing joke for a next to mindless grindfest that's basically mobile trash on a home platform.[/b] I've played really good turn-based strategy games with more content and challenge for less than that price. I like this game

I did buy this game at full price knowing, at this time, it's currently at a "mixed" review overall. However, I did spent 18 hours on it before calling it quits. Still, there were plenty of moments that I enjoyed. The ultimate problem is your character will be too strong and once I completed all the scenarios, the ending/payoff was as good as an end screen stating 'you did it! well done!'... but it didn't feel rewarding, it was more like 'huh, guess I'm done.' I didn't have the patience to 'discover' everything, but that particular process was, again, enjoyable until my character got too strong'. 18 hours on a game I've spent 15 dollars on a game that's more than a decade old? I can't be negative about it. In the end, it was worth it. Follow-up: Back at it again. However, there's no way I'll be going for all the achievements. Yet, it's more fun playing in shorter sessions. How many more hours will I keep going with this?
