Quite a few puzzles were genuinely difficult (thank goodness for guides) and some parts of the game tedious (especially the bird one omg) but I still really enjoyed it. I could feel the improvement from the previous game. Love being able to play in first person1 found this helpful
PROS: I am a fan of Frogwares and I adore everything they do. I love the soundtrack and the recreation of these London landmarks. The Galleries and the British museum collections were revived to convincing detail. CONS: Sherlock would know the correct pronunciation of "Lupin" and "Velasquez" and "Murillo" makes me think that the voice was made by a text-to-speech ?. But they have improved that too ever since.
Very fun game. I honestly had a blast playing it. Very entertaining.
I love Frogwares Sherlock Games and you can definitely see that they've gotten better with age, the Ukrainians are on to something, but you need to reign in your expectations if you're coming from Crime & Punishment, Devil's Daughter, Chapter One etc. This really is the bare-bones building blocks for what they would go on to develop in the future. If you can forgive that you're going to have a good time, but if not please stay away you won't have fun.
