It's a relic - one of the oldest games on steam. Unsurprisingly, this has aged terribly with confusing controls and cryptic gameplay from the era of games where you spent longer reading the included manual than playing the game.

Not the best version available, but still a bit of fun to revisit such a classic. I doubt many will have much fun playing Silent Service, so maybe only grab it if you are a hardcore fan of retro games.

A much more rudimentary port where everything is handled by pressing keys on a key board, you did not have the problem of running out of keys! Not the case, for example on NES, which was handled by an interesting approach: a cursor, like on a computer in 1989! Then why would someone with such extensive experience providing us with frustrating fun with his games on computer systems would not come to the same solution in 2023?!
