About Skala

Skala is a game about changing the physical scale of things. You can make yourself large enough to step over a giant cliff, or make a key small enough to be passed through a solid wall. The game explores the consequences of this rescaling mechanic through simple yet difficult puzzles.
A level where you have to stretch yourself in order to reach a star.

Skala takes place in a graphically simple world with a big house and a star filled sky to explore. The world is covered by a relaxing soundtrack which let's you take in all of the games mechanics.

There are over 70 puzzle levels to play through. Every level is unique and has some purpose, whether it's introducing a new idea/mechanic, or developing on the concepts of previous levels.

The mechanic of scaling things down to zero is confusing and clunky to use. Not fun

Very fun concept, and most of the hard puzzles are just the right difficulty where they aren't mind-boggling but you still feel clever for figuring it out. Feels a bit similar to Baba Is You. My only gripe with this game is that some puzzles require you to shrink objects to zero width/height — this is fine — but ALSO move the object to a specific point on the screen. I understand the idea here, and it's great when it works, but not being able to see any feedback for my inputs aside from when it's already too late was not enjoyable. Ignore my ranting though, the game is still great and I definitely recommend you check it out if you're interested.

It's free, you've got nothing to lose. 100-percented it in 12 hours.
