About Skyward Extraction
Relencost is a world ravaged by ancient conflict. The surface has been rendered unlivable by a permanent chaotic magical storm. The survivors in this post apocalyptic world have ascended above the cloud layer, finding safety upon the tallest mountain peaks and the floating islands scattered around the world.
One place remains treacherous above all others: The Stormwall.
A place so dangerous that it's shifting depths are rarely explored and only the bravest or most greedy dare to travel.
Each day, a new safe passage will shift into being, opening or closing the path to different locations.
You and your colleagues will delve into the depths of The Stormwall, locating and retrieving lost treasures from Pre-War Relencost while completing contracts from the Ranadeen Empire.You'll use numerous tools and gadgets to increase your odds of survival, and more importantly: Loot. You will use your hard earned wealth to upgrade your ship allowing you to move deeper into the storm for greater rewards and precious Skystones.

*Use your hard earned gold to purchase new and more powerful tools in the supply outpost.
*Unlock permanent character upgrades with Skystones given as rewards for completing the Ranadeen salvage contracts.
Gather your fellow Stormtreaders and work together to survive The Stormwall. Ancient locations are filled with terrible enemies intent on making each trip your last.
Keep your eyes peeled and your wits sharp to get your loot back to the ship.
Move quickly as activity inside of the storm wall attracts the unwanted attention of Mighty Goliath's called Stormbeasts. Few things can survive a direct conflict with a stormbeast, so make sure that you, your ship, and your goods have left before they show up.

as of right now, the game is extremely unbalanced. 8/10 times whatever's chasing you is already faster than you, and forget about upgrading your character since the way to get any sky shards is to either 1. die a lot after getting loot so you trickle level up, or 2. get the objective that's nigh impossible to actually get since you have one shot to grab it (info gleamed from another review since i only made it to the objective once or twice ever) and the level of difficulty for staying too long looking for it if you aren't lucky ramps it up to the point you may as well just restart. i'm shelving this one until the next update drops, since i'm gonna assume they're still working on it, they should still work on it as it has a lot of potential and i'd love to revisit this review in a better light, but if they aren't then it's entirely not worth getting as it is right now.7 found this helpful

Naruto running through caves with the gng
There's a nice variety of monsters in this, and a lot of interesting mechanics that add to the Lethal Company style gameplay. I like the map mechanic; it allows you to take chances on more loot locations, as long as you keep ahead of the storm. There's a good variety of items to buy, and calling the shop to the ship is a nice touch. I didn't see much of the progression system, but what I looked at seemed like a nice way to keep you wanting to return and improve your character. The Naruto run is a bonus, too.
