No autosave, hours lost kek Edit: Dev updated and added autosave now woopwoop2 found this helpful
gets pretty dull pretty quick. first ascension doesn't take that long and then you kind of see how it goes (
you get to keep an item after the first ascension
). then you just repeat the blob killing. starting off ascensions really sucks after you get used to autosell too. equipment needs QoL too. maybe even an autoequip. equipping stuff sucks. particularly the rings and gadgets, it only compares against your first slot equipped so you have to manually look at the equipped item vs the item in storage, you can't use the tooltip to compare. moving around your gadgets is bad. you have to slowly move your mouse or you drop your gadget. their positions don't save on exit either. i think the autosell options do save but they don't show they do, probably a bug. i wanted to like this but i'm tired of it after 3 hours. feels monotonous. will edit if that changes in the future. 🤷♂️2 found this helpful
The core questions of any early access title are how is the gameplay loop and is the concept enough that when the game is built upon it will be a fun and rewarding title. This game mechanistically is fun and the loop is enjoyable. I have found it to be well worth my money and look forward to its further development. The developer is active in the community and listening to feedback which suggests the game is on track for a bright future.1 found this helpful
novel little clicker
Cool concept, unfinished game - I don't see updates happening and dev responses are from last year.
got lost in the mechanics, satisfying activity ramp-up, not my usual type of game but I found myself liking it more as I understood more mechanics and really chased after defeating the first bosses. Maybe there could be some things trimmed down to keep it more focused, and maybe make the variety more accessible quicker, but maybe that's a skill issue as well lol I know the dev is working on this all the time and its only going to get better!!
