A space shattered by failed experiments, a multitude of experimental creatures looking for you.

On your way you will encounter various items that will strengthen you, equipment that will give you new abilities, and several weapons that will be responsible for your attacks.
There is only one goal in this game.
To pick up a gun, defeat all the enemies that stand in your way and escape at the end of it!

You may choose to retrace your steps if you want to be more prepared to deal with the enemies ahead.
But keep in mind. If you go back the way you came, the collapsing space will attack you.
Don't give up, challenge, choose, and move on!
You can have stronger combat abilities from the start, a stronger body, or more agile legs, depending on your choices.
All of this can be earned in your challenges.
These will make you
make you run faster, jump higher, move in new ways, block enemy attacks in more ways, and become more powerful.

Gameplay
Soul Device is a 2D platformer shooter with features of the roguelike genre.On your way you will encounter various items that will strengthen you, equipment that will give you new abilities, and several weapons that will be responsible for your attacks.

Tons of different types of enemies will target you in different types of labs!Powerful bosses will frustrate you!

Before you start your escape, you can customize your soul device's abilities with 6 different soul devices and 12 special symbols to get you started!You can have stronger combat abilities from the start, a stronger body, or more agile legs, depending on your choices.
All of this can be earned in your challenges.

Enhance yourself with over 50 different items, gain multiple abilities with over 30 different pieces of equipment, and attack your enemies with over 40 different weapons!These will make you

Unlike other roguelike games, it specializes in enhancing player stats to solve the game through equipment and synergy. Therefore, unlike other roguelike games, the items related to player stats are mainly used, and the style of playing the game is very different depending on the items and equipment, so playing this game tends to be a different color from other games. I really enjoyed how the game lets players grow by collecting items and getting gear through different paths. This gives players tons of options and lets them develop their own unique play style. Plus, the game has bosses with complex patterns, which makes it a ton of fun to challenge them. This has the potential to be an amazing game, but it needs more work. I really hope the developer is going to continue working on it. It has a very unique look and feel, and a lovely atmosphere to it. However, it is no fun to play with mouse and keyboard, it really needs controller support to keep it in line with others in the same genre. The gameplay feels sluggish, though maybe that's the controls. Would work better if it felt more like a run and gun game, which it is. Not sure whats going on with the gun, but it currently points towards you.3 found this helpful
Great mechanics, great art work - weapons fire and reload animations - and very fun game. Story is quite interesting but non- decisive or I am missing sth. I finished game many times but didnt understand if it was a succesfull finish. One ending is clear that I have failed although I beat all enemies. In other ending, I met the hidden final red deamon boss and beat it but ending scene was not clear if it is sucess or not. Like is there a 3rd alternative finish? Also having some combination makes you immortal (or there is a bug in the game) so that you dont take any damage.2 found this helpful
total garbage no redeeming factors at all
Could the korea creater let me know how can i get down from the bridge. the fxxking brick bridge connect from the side to the other side of the screen with no holes to get down,and you sent me with the jump device (like a resilience mushroom). However,there is no simple key like "S" in most 2D games to get down from a slice flat or bridge. i cant go anywhere and press all keys,cant get down. even if there 's no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long bridge, the opreate is ♥♥♥♥ with this.you should go down by walking to a hole or edge of the flat to jump down.this simple logic you cant do, and sell the game this price, i dont think so. pilease fix it . besides, the shooting is difficult.
