Souls of Tartarus

"Souls of Tartarus" is a weird and badly made 2D top down brawler where cyberpunk (assets) meet Greek mythology. The loose idea is that you like, die, probably from playing too many crap video games, and make a deal with Tartarus that you can top down brawl in procgen samey environments to get a life. What do you do in the game? The worst top down arcade action I ever experiences. The developers abandoned this 3 years ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This comes across as something unambitious and "simple" in terms of implementation and technical quality and depth, more like a game dev tutorial or an experiment. It's a classic case of a developer prioritizing the low effort needed to get a game listed on Steam over the actual delivery of a technically sound or compelling product.
