About Souls of Tartarus
Souls of Tartarus is a "Rogue-lite", "Souls-like" inspiered Top-Down Dungeon Crawler. A gamble with the ruler of the underworld "Tartarus" gives you a last chance to be reborn. Can you defeat his Generals that became lazy and set in there ways? No Checkpoints. No Saves. One Run. One Chance.
The Barrier of a True Roguelike can sometimes be a bit high. So I tought about a way to combine Rogue-lites with Rogue-likes. You can die during your runs to earn resources but after every 3 runs you will have to face a Boss that needs to be defeated.
You lose you start again. You Win you continue to climb up.
Ohh and we also sprinkle in a bit of puzzle solving under pressure to keep your braincells fresh and on its toes.
Set Losely in the World of Greek Mythology we also borrow from other cultures to create an interesting mix of culture within the Abyss of the Eternal God.
The main Realease will have 5 Randomly generated themes of dungeons that each offer specific dungeon types/Game modes, I call these "Realms",
and another 2 "Semi" randomly generated Dungeons that focus more on puzzle solving and a good old handcrafted touch of madness, I call these "Dungeons".
After that I plan to regularely update new "Realms" and especially "Dungeons" to have a good pool of maps that randomly pop up in your runs.
Soo...Will you rage quit sometimes? probably.....BUT.....you’ll git gud… Eventually.
See Ya!!!

- A fun main character that Swears alot.
- Be a shitty wizard, an awesome swordsman or a grifter in between... it is totally up to you!

✦ AI summary
Souls of Tartarus is an abandoned 2D top-down brawler that blends cyberpunk and Greek mythology aesthetics but falls short in execution. Players criticize it as poorly made with repetitive procedurally-generated environments, uninspired combat mechanics, and a lack of depth, feeling more like an unfinished tutorial or experimental project than a complete game.
"Souls of Tartarus" is a weird and badly made 2D top down brawler where cyberpunk (assets) meet Greek mythology. The loose idea is that you like, die, probably from playing too many crap video games, and make a deal with Tartarus that you can top down brawl in procgen samey environments to get a life. What do you do in the game? The worst top down arcade action I ever experiences. The developers abandoned this 3 years ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This comes across as something unambitious and "simple" in terms of implementation and technical quality and depth, more like a game dev tutorial or an experiment. It's a classic case of a developer prioritizing the low effort needed to get a game listed on Steam over the actual delivery of a technically sound or compelling product. Whatever is needed to hammer out something "good" enough for Steam Direct self-publishing. This game looks a lot better visually than the actual gameplay. It could be the developer purchased high-end assets (no proof of that), or somehow managed to create great-looking assets whi…
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)
THERE IS ONLY SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS

WE ARE ALL SINNERS AND SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD
For “ALL” have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
WE NEED TO REPENT FROM OUR SINS
He who covers up his sins will not prosper; but he who confesses them and turns away will obtain mercy (Proverbs 28:13).
JESUS CHRIST IS THE "ONLY MEDIATOR"
Because there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). In the beginning he was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1.1). And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (John 1.14). The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only one who can give us eternal life and save us from the wrath to come. Salvation is not throu…
