Warhammer 40K but the Terminator armor is from Temu4 found this helpful
The potential is great in this game, but sadly the amount of bugs hinder this potential. But I could still recommend it to someone who is a fan of the 40K setting, but only on a deep discount. On the positive side the visuals are on a high place, corridors could look claustrophobic (how the horror thematic needs it), and chapels look grandiose. An especially really nice effect is how the genesteelers eyes reflect light from afar. An additional positive that Toby Longworth is the voice of the main character, he could be familiar from Warhammer audiobooks. But the negatives, there are a lot of bugs (didn't see any game breaking ones but it still annoying). There are missing sounds in briefings, the ally AI is almost non existent, there are mission part when you just wait around for too long, the enemy is too spongey... So if you add these all up these are not huge problems with the game but there are many. There are 2 saving factors why I would still recommend it. The price, you can buy it with 90% off. And there is a coop option (sadly didn't know about that personally), that might help about the bad ally AI.2 found this helpful
This game is a such letdown that I cannot even bring myself to play it after just 2 and half hours - it is pure nonsense - no actual story, enemies are stupid, allies are stupid. Voice acting is nonexistend. Technically I am a little baffled why this game had to use 100% of my GPU when Darktide which newer, more taxing and had better physics does not. Gameplay is boring and tedious as with most Games Workshop games - it has no actual goal other than move destroy, kill - unaplayable mess with such bad AI - enemies block themselves on anything, allies are just as bad. Somehow survivability of our "Battle Borthers" increases when powerclaws are equipped. The animations are also wooden - everything seems to swim in the air and collision detection is frustrating. I just can't play something like this.2 found this helpful
DECENT
I love a space marine stuff, Good game
Good potential, true to the lore, however: The controls in tight areas where you have no choice but to hold tunnels the enemy to you and regardless of what weapons you use, projectiles or melee weapons doesn't matter, you get tunneled and there is really not much you can do. 5/10
