"Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover." - This game is way more addictive and fun than it might look like! Super customizable and the ability to play any song you own in this game give it tons of replayability and a higher value score then other similar games. Add in smooth responsive controls and tons of settings and you got an easy recommend! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvHcRqDp33U7 found this helpful
Space Rocks is a somewhat simple endless/tunnel runner with a few bells and whistles. It's supposed to work with music you have to supply yourself, but there's a small number of demo tracks supplied with the game. This doesn't really add any value to an already poor premise for a game. Getting into the game itself, this shallow 2-button endless runner has you flying what is almost certainly an asset flipped spaceship along a flat pathway, dodging left and right between lanes to dodge asteroids... that's all there is to it. Temple Runner, free on the mobile app stores, has deeper and richer gameplay. It's a joke that they're charging money for this. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers shou…6 found this helpful
Super relaxing and easy to setup and play. Even my three year old enjoys it!3 found this helpful
Space Rocks is an unconventional arcade title developed by Alister Software and published by Back To Basics Gaming that takes a surprisingly creative approach to music-based gameplay. Instead of providing a built-in soundtrack and asking players to adapt to it, the game turns the concept around by allowing players to use their own music collection as the centerpiece of the experience. Every song effectively becomes a playable level, transforming personal playlists into customizable obstacle courses set among colorful asteroid fields and deep-space environments. The result is a simple but imaginative game that blends music, reflex-based gameplay, and player creativity into a package that feels distinct from traditional rhythm or arcade releases. The game's central concept is its greatest strength. Players select songs from their own library and then navigate through space while avoiding asteroids and hazards generated around the music. Because every track differs in tempo, energy, and mood, each session feels unique. A calm instrumental piece creates a very different atmosphere than an energetic rock song or an intense electronic track. This dependence on personal music gives Space…
There are a lot of problems with this game. Considering that it has a lot of options for customization, the menus, gameplay and music aren't particularly good. The game could be all about using our music, but it only has three demo tracks, which isn't enough for its release. There hasn't been an update since 2017, so I don't think this game will get any better. I can't recommend it.
