About Space Run Galaxy
Build and customize modular spaceships on the fly, strategically placing weapons and shields while managing cargo space as you race deliveries across a galaxy full of hostile threats. This real-time tower-defense hybrid drops you into a persistent online universe where you can tackle player-created contracts, trade with other runners, and face off against boss enemies while perfecting your ship designs across 100+ unique runs.
Set 20 years after the original game, Captain Buck Mann has now set up his very own intergalactic courier service. You’re a member of Mann’s team of space runners, racing to deliver precious goods from planet to planet! Reinforce your modular ships with armaments including laser turrets, missile launchers and energy shields, while leaving enough room for your cargo. Fly fast – the quicker you arrive at your destination, the better the rewards!
Venture into the depths of space spanning an entire galaxy, with 4 solar systems and over 50 zones to visit across 100+ runs. Space Run Galaxy offers limitless gameplay, while fresh new features expand the original experience:
- User-created contracts – Take on contracts from other players for better rewards and unlimited replayability.
- Intergalactic player market – Trade hard-earned goods with your fellow space runners to sell off extra supplies, or snap up a tidy bargain.
- New corporations offer riskier jobs – Carry the extra fragile cargo of XenoPrime, or risk transporting The Force’s highly dangerous weapon prototypes (which may even endanger your own ship!)
- Fresh dangers await – Face off against brand new boss-type enemies, such as deadly pirate ships and huge space monsters…
- Deep customization – Customize the shape and size of any ships you acquire during your adventure. There’s no restriction for what ship you use in each mission, letting you get creative with every run!

Pros: It's an interesting take in the old TD concept. In space. Highly customizable ships for each "run". Interesting enemies/menaces. Cons Characters are...idiotic at best. Story is...uninteresting at best. It would probably be an upgrade if neither existed. Multiplayer is wholly unnecessary, seems like something the developer wanted to shoved into to game. Which bring us to the last point of grind. Guess the developer never expected people playing his game 10 years after release, because without the multiplayer part, this become a chore and not a game. so, yeah, maybe a 6/10 game if the multiplayer aspect still had any meaning. without it, its more like a 4/10. ps. apparently, last year the game server were attacked and seems like they lost everyone progress? What?! why force everyone to play this game online just to have everyone save lost? gladly I didnt pick this up during that attack, I would be very pissed.5 found this helpful
Yeah, it is's quite nice game, which you can play few hours of few minutes. It's combining some logical thinking, tactical decisions and planning. There are more cargo types than in previous game, so even additional challenges appear. Multiplayer addition is nice touch which is not intrusive for gameplay.1 found this helpful
Fantastic game — I hope someone makes more games like this :) + Fun story + Building your own ship and using blueprints is great + The balance is good (a bit too easy for me, but challenging enough for most players) + Fun spaceship tower defense gameplay + Lots of fun weapons, upgrade combinations, and things to do - If you are playing online and lose connection before finishing a run, you lose the run and have to start again. I see some players complaining that the game is too grindy, but I don’t really see it. They are probably going back and forth without knowing where to go. You can just complete all quests in each sector, buy and use all the boxes when you finish a galaxy, move some items, sell the rest, and then move on to the next galaxy. Easy peasy — no need to grind.1 found this helpful
+1
This is just a worse version of the previous game, "Space Run". Core gameplay is 90% the same, all they added is tedium. In the previous game you just needed money to upgrade your stuff. In Space Run Galaxy, you are now limited to how many turret of each type you can build. You build them with money and crafting components, but these components need to be moved around from planet to planet like mission cargo. You HAVE to spend a significant chunk of time just ferrying your own stuff around because the developer made sure mechanics always have a limited selection of craftable components. If you don't do that you're not gonna have the gear to complete missions. Also, if you don't get 100% of the cargo delivered for a mission, you don't get crafting components. So, yeah, it's just "Space Run", with extra grinding.
