edit: servers not online anymore so u cant even play it good idea for a game but jank as ♥♥♥♥ and unfinished, barely functional. level browser sucks, level editor sucks, and literally nobody likes how the air control works. quake/source was a perfect blueprint and this dude jacked their style, pushed it on its back, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it

Insane potential for a good game, but killed by stupid devs. Not playable, servers are down seemingly forever.

it was a very funny game until they nuked themselves, dev was ignorant af and did not bother fixing any bugs, plus servers are down so you can't even play anymore, if the game didnt keep the same old ass design and actually got updates and new features, it might've lasted more (oh yeah and not randomly delete the discord server ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)

As some people already know, I’m the kind of player who cares deeply about movement, especially in a game that’s supposed to be all about speedrunning. When movement is the core of the experience, the bar for quality isn’t just high, it’s everything. Unfortunately, Speedrun Maker doesn’t just fail to meet that bar, it trips over it, falls flat, and then keeps rolling downhill. I’ve played plenty of games with rough movement systems, but this one genuinely takes the cake. The movement here feels clunky, unresponsive, and frustrating, easily some of the worst I’ve ever experienced in any game that claims to be about speedrunning. And sadly, the “maker” part doesn’t save it either. The level editor feels barebones and unintuitive, offering far less flexibility and creativity than countless other games with smaller player bases and simpler concepts. If you’re hoping to make or share interesting speedrun-style levels, you’ll find yourself limited almost immediately. If you’re truly passionate about creating speedrun challenges or games, you’re better off making your own Project, and I genuinely mean that.
