- Build It and They Will Come: Erect a living, thriving city and maintain your ecosystem via resource management mastery and infrastructure supported by independent economic cycles.
- Do not Look Down: Ensure your anti-gravity device and its expanding deflector shield are always kept in tip-top shape, as an insufficient power supply will result in a quick demise.
- Send in the Robots: Utilize drones and other scout technologies in hazardous environments to construct buildings, harvest resources, and search for stranded survivors and rare materials in uncharted territories.
- A Scientist in Space: Research new technologies to improve the efficiency of every aspect of your city and withstand a plethora of (un)natural disasters like geomagnetic storms, asteroids, and poisonous clouds.
- A Delicate Ecosystem: The well-being of your people is crucial to the success of the mission. Carefully tend to the needs of your colonists by supplying food, healthcare, and shelter. But don’t forget, the survival of many may require the deaths of the few. Sacrifices are an inevitable imperative.

A cool idea, with bad, grindy, boring execution. PROS + cool idea CONS - too few buildings - the game drags, it is too grindy, and gets boring too quick - balance issues - looks quite bad - whoever though that having 500 jumps (and even just 250 is too much) is a good idea, deserves to be fired ... I wont even 100% this as I dont have another 10h just to click map and watch unskipable unbereably long bad looking animations3 found this helpful
An interesting idea, badly-designed. Unintuitive menus coupled with an inability to search the in-game manual. Tutorial omits key details like how mining works in enough detail. Random spikes of colonist illness when you're not in a 'bad weather' zone and your hospitals are close to the colonies. Best until last, the ultimate piss-take that had me uninstall the game: The "map the moon fragment" mission, with no clue given about how the fragment is actually mapped. Good luck finding useful info online about that ("there's a button on the side", apparently) - the manual doesn't mention it either.1 found this helpful
Didn't get past the first step tutorial because it wouldn't track my camera rotation properly. Was rotating constantly and it would go up by 1 maybe every 20-30 seconds. Seems bugged?1 found this helpful
games starting missions are really bad at telling you what you need to do just telling you to research a tech but not telling you you need to build radar to gather the research points needed and if youre not quick all youre colonist quickly become ill and your power fails

Sphere: Flying Cities, developed by mañana studios and published by Assemble Entertainment, is a post-apocalyptic city-building strategy game that dares to lift its civilization quite literally above the ruins of Earth. Set in a future where a catastrophic asteroid impact has rendered the planet’s surface toxic and unstable, the game tasks players with constructing and maintaining a massive anti-gravity-powered floating city—the last beacon of human survival. Its premise immediately distinguishes it from traditional city builders: instead of expanding across fertile land or colonizing distant planets, you are suspended in the skies, constantly balancing survival, resource management, and mobility in a hostile world below. At the heart of the experience lies a blend of survival simulation and strategic planning. As Commander, you oversee the development of your airborne metropolis, managing essential resources such as food, energy, water, housing, and medical services. Every structure you place consumes limited power and space, forcing careful urban planning within the circular confines of the floating platform. The anti-gravity core that keeps the city airborne becomes both a symb…
