Spycraft: The Great Game is one of those games that does not just remind me of the past. It kicks the door open, walks in wearing a cheap 90s suit, and says, “Remember when you finally had your own proper computer and thought you were basically running international intelligence operations from a desk?” Because I remember. This was one of my favourites on my first computer as a real grown up. Not a family computer. Not something you had to negotiate time on. Mine. A serious machine for serious adult purposes, like word processing, pretending to organise my life, and sinking a medically concerning number of hours into a full-motion video spy game. And honestly, Spycraft still has something. Yes, it looks old. Of course it does. It has that beautiful Windows 95 energy where every screen feels like it was built by someone who smoked indoors and trusted floppy disks with national security. The interface is clunky, the video is grainy, and the whole thing feels like a government training CD-ROM that accidentally became fun. But that is also the charm. This is not a game about sprinting through corridors with two pistols and perfect hair. It is a game about information.…1 found this helpful
Man they dont make it like this anymore. This one was one of my childhood golden games, I literally learned English on games like these and so much more than that. You become an 11 year old kid who now knows what CIA and KGB are, what surveillance means, how "intelligence" is gathered... it was such an eye opener. Glad it still works mighty fine even on a W111 found this helpful

Your playing as a CIA man, working to uncover and stop a terrorist plot to assassinate political figures. i love the mystery in this game. its got a great story and feels so nostalgic of the 1990's. i love this game. its one of my favorite pc games of all time
An excellent game. It's like reading a good mystery or thriller book. Puzzles are an appropriate challenge level. It was very fun to crack the various cases the game threw at me!
