RPG Maker strikes again! This is yet another RPG Maker asset flip, a low effort kitbash made with the Final Fantasy ripoff construction kit, RPG Maker, in their own words, "These easy to use tools are simple enough for a child". This is just a cringey high school anime club dropout fan-fiction combined with extremely poor quality retro game assets. The developer was unable to work out how to use RPG Maker to create a crappy JRPG, which is the only thing it can do (and it's very bad at doing this). Instead, they made what's basically more of an e-book/visual novel than a game... a very badly written e-book. The topic is incredibly cringey and pretentious political commentary about an introvert being exposed to the world and not liking it. There's a lot of basement dweller vibes coming off this. As with all RPG Maker games, this is the result of a really bad game engine being misused. Like all RPG Maker "games", it looks bad in fullscreen and lacks HD support or graphics options. This is not acceptable for modern PC gamers. The argument must be made that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games, toys and demos to pass around with friends, and…

Okay this is a long one. First off I do like the game, I wouldn't have made this review if I didn't see any potential in it and that is what defines this game *Potential*. The game has a lot that *could* be going for it and that it does, yet a lot of the basic features of the game aren't explained and while I get wanting to keep the spirit of discovery alive but not telling us that 'Form' allows you to change party members rotation in combat, or that 'Provoke' is your basic attack and not a conversation/dialogue/debuff tool, and just the basic stuff like that, the systems of the game don't really get explained or if they do not all that well. Audio/Music: While some of the songs (especially the 'Intro Tape' one) can be worse than god awful at times there is actually a lot of really good and atmospheric tracks within the game, the one's I like the most are the one that plays at the player's house and the jail theme when you get caught stealing. Dialogue/VA: First as this is related both to this section and Audio/Music, as some of the voice acting is just so bad it makes the game suffer, some of the voice lines just need to be pulled out of the game fully imo. I despise Wizards vo…
