About Star Aegis
- Wave-based, scorechasing old school arcade experience.
- Your shields are powerful but limited. You need to defend and reflect from one side while tactically dodge from the other.
- Choose between ramming enemy ships with your shield for a smaller score or go for broke by reflecting bullets back at them.
- Main graphics, programming and all of audio made by one developer, one-man band style (hope you like guitars).
- A short but intense experience. I tried capturing the experience of playing a couple of rounds at the arcade before going to school.

Good game to play half an hour or more (unless you are into achieving maximum scores!) Best thing: Innovative mechanics (don't shoot! Use your shields!) Pros: - different mechanics (the best thing) - nice track (for rock n roll fans) Cons: - leaderboard seems not to be working
A really liked the idea of playing a shmup where you don't shoot. Unusual but cool!
A space invader, a breakout or a roguelike, I don't know but it's fun.
This game is different, because you don't shoot, but use the shield to reflect the bullets to destroy the enemies. I liked very much.
Space Invaders had a child, and it's into metal! Simple yet great game. I'm not sure if it was the actual game mechanics, the soundtrack or both, but I felt a rush of adrenaline playing it. And I'm usually not into shooters. Definitely worth giving a try!
