Star-Crossed Myth - The Department of Punishments - for now is my fav Voltage otome! Though again there were too many annoying things but I've just finished my adorable Scorpio's (♥ω♥ ) route all teared-up, so I don't even want it to be a neutral review as I always chose for their games before. It was more emotional and touching experience this time, so I feel like actually recommending this novel. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3308500576 Praises: +Art is gorgeous. There're so many pretty CGS, true gods' appearance was especially enchanting. +Plot was interesting, in some routes it was so captivating I couldn't stop reading forgetting about sleep. +Only happy endings. I need more such novels where I can relax knowing whatever the trouble is happy end is inevitable. Though some obstacles were truly sad, I really worried about characters' destiny, I wasn't indifferent. +Steam guide for all the endings. That's really helpful, sometimes I couldn't achieve the necessary endings without it. +Setting is awesome! Stars, gods, zodiacs... So exciting! I used to love that stuff a lot when I was a teenager, though now I find it kinda silly but …

Overall story line is basic, but I didn't expect each route has fantastic depth and development. Each character has their own charm too. Very worth to try !

Mobile app Voltage games introduced me to the genre of dating sims together with the "Shall we date?" series. "Kissed By The Baddest Bidder " and "Star-Crossed Myth" were the first games I've ever played, so when I saw that StarMyth was released here on Steam as a whole game I knew I had to replay it. Compared to new otome this one has bad background art (but who really looks at it if the guys are hot and interesting enough?) and maybe is more conservative and not so catchy story-wise (considering the money-making mechanics of the mobile app that divides the story in small chapters) so I've had this game sitting in my library for too long . But now I've opted to start a small challenge to play each God in their respective "season" to motivate myself, and I'm glad that I did :3 . The first one I'm currently playing is Dui (Gemini god) and even if I didn't find him appealing before, after the bonus chapter of the main story you could say that I'm invested, so I will happily continue its story! I definitely recommend the game to old Voltage players, but even new player maybe will find it enjoyable because the characters are interesting and it's a good game to turn your brain off aft…

A well-done otome, all of the male leads are very distinctive and each path's stories are unique and engaging -- even when they share the same initial premise, they diverge wildly due to the personalities of the people involved, giving so many different and interesting experiences to the reader. Between Wishes and Punishments, Wishes has my first-favorite male lead, but Punishments has more of my overall top picks. Definitely worth picking both up, if you're able!

I have fond memories playing this game about 10 years ago, back when it was available in the app store & I played it on my tablet. Naturally I had to replay Ichthys's route first. As he was the only god's route I played back then. I've already replayed his main story & played Partheno's. I'm kinda considering playing Dui & Krioff's routes but...we'll see.
