It's an interesting take on the automation Genre and i had fun playing it and designing the transport system. to get the 100% Achievments it was a bit of a waiting game in the end, but still fun.
fun little game. it reminds me of planet crafter in a lot of ways. the end game was where it really got cool I wish that part lasted longer. I think they should add some challenges to additional runs once you complete it.
[h1]Star Ores Inc Review[/h1] Time for a review of Star Ores Inc. I'll preface the review by saying, I really liked the demo. The demo was fun, it drew me in enough that I added the game to my Wishlist. Fast forward to the Steam sale and I pick it up. The concept of the game is great. Mine space ores, set up a shop, sell those ores, make money, repeat. After about an hour of giving the game a real shot, I ended up refunding it as it is just not fun. At least, not as fun as the demo implied it would be. [h3]The Bad[/h3] [list] [*] Pacing - The pacing of the game is slow. You don't really notice how slow things move when playing the demo, but you really notice it in the game. [spoiler]Mining the rocks to get to the first "real section" takes forever and you have to mine through 6-8 of them. It was about 10 minutes to just get to the real starting location.[/spoiler] [*] Mini Drones - You can use mini drones to transport ore around the station. Unfortunately, they are pretty useless. They are: [**] Slow - Holy crap they are slow. At the start, they can carry one ore and they take about two minutes to get that one ore from the first "main" section to the global storage unit on the s…
lovely game, but a bit short. I would love to play sequel with a bit more complex automation and maybe in open world
