Steam Revolution: The Age of Rail

It is promising, but unfortunately the whole execution is just very bad and tedious. The issues with your tracks will only be shown once you are thorugh building them, just to start reshaping everything. Also the UI/UX is very messy, ambiguous and inconsistent. Would not recommend in this state. Take an example of great classics. Will check back again once it is playable. 3/10

Very simplistic. Seems like a 'school project' made while someone's learning game-design and simple coding. For the price it isn't 'bad', and will pass some time while you're learning/discovering how controls & mechanics function. Very annoying aspect of the game I found is that once I begin the simulation if I want to make an edit to anything (change a signal or add a signal, for example) the current progress I have made (amount of wood taken to sawmill, lumber to city, etc.) is ALL RESET TO ZERO and you must start over. My overall impression is that it's a very poorly-made, cheap clone of 'RailGrade'.

I'm going to be honest, this game can be very fun though it really is tedious. the gameplay loop is fine for what it is, but having to go back and forth with setting up the tracks only to find some microscopic bs making you go all the way back can really be frustrating. But its enjoying to see it actually work. The graphics is no cs2, being very bare bones. But I cannot be one to complain when I enjoy openttd's default graphics. When it comes to issues, this game gots plenty The biggest problem I see with this is the meh signaling/interchanges and somewhat poor communications with certain features. Signaling can be confusing as hell as none of the options for signaling is really properly explain. But this is an overall issue with the game. Nothing is properly explained ever. Another issue is the use of AI imagery, just rip some yee old 18th century paintings off of google, with how long since they would've been painted, they should be on the open market. Or hell, use no images at all as it doesn't even add anything to the gameplay at all. One last complaint is the topographic map is confusing as hell, instead of showing elevation, it shows slope but they blend together too eas…

This game is a really good game, but there are crashes every so often
