About Railways: Train Simulator
✦ AI summary
Guide your train along minimalist tracks, timing your moves carefully to avoid crashes and navigate increasingly chaotic puzzles. This meditative railway management game rewards patience and strategic thinking as you orchestrate each train's journey through beautiful, artistic landscapes.
Railways features minimalist and artistic elements merged in an immersive experience where the perks of a train trip are emphasized: astonishing landscapes observed at slow pace. Each level will bring a new challenge to the track, more chaos and of course clever moves from your side.
This is a train simulator where patience is a virtue. In order to succeed, you need to wait for the right moment and use your train management skills to drag the trains from one railway to another. But be careful or trains will crash!

unfortunately, i cannot recommend the game at this time. i'm unable to play due to trains separating and crashing into each other constantly. i cannot even beat the first level after the tutorial.4 found this helpful
it is a very silly game, but it's also very hard, you constantly have to micromanage paths of trains and if you mess up, you crashed! the levels with cars/planes/black trains are my least favourite though because you need to focus on a thing that is outside your control. sometimes when you collide with passengers, you can win the level early for some reason and you can also see trains having a stroke when they are too close to eachother, neither of which happens in the mobile version. overall, 6.5/10, very silly, stressful but rewarding game with them trains2 found this helpful
Pure arcade. No puzzles. No strategy. No management. Not a simulator. A very annoying exercise in dexterity, designed for finger input on a pocket phone.2 found this helpful
The controls are created with mobile touchscreen in mind and playing with a mouse is a nightmare. To stop a train it needs to be clicked precisely, and the mouse cannot move even the slightest. I can't count how many times I clicked on a train, but because of a slight mouse movement the game thought I wanted to move it instead of stopping, and thus it crashed. Moreover, when using the mouse, stopping a train should also stop the train that's right behind it, on mobile you can use two fingers to do that quickly, but with one mouse cursor it's impossible. Also, since when do trains yield to cars? The first few levels are fun, but then it becomes just an annoying chore. It could be fixed by slight changes in how the game reacts to the mouse clicks, but without that, it's not really a good choice.
I love this kind of games. Initially I played it with mouse pad only and it made it a bit harder so it took some TRAINing to get used to. However its a fun game though sadly i feel like i want to play more but I ran out of game content too soon :(
Can collide with passengers 10/10
